The Tenji festival is annual event indigenous to Lomanthang, Upper MUSTANG, Nepal. Tenji commonly pronounced "Teeji" is the abbreviated from of Tempa Chhirim which translates to "Prayer for World peace". Tenji commemorates the victory of Buddha's incarnation. Dhorje Sonam over a demon called Ma Tam Ru Ta, who was man eater and who caused storms and droughts to destroy people's houses and livestock.

A Dance group and Dhan Bahadur Gurung leave Nepal on 1st of March, 2009 towards Hongkong. There was a show called Marshyandi Night at Yangloong at Theater Hall. They got there and start to rehearse for the show. He had gone there as coordinator of Pokhara Dace group. Dance group was from Anusilan Kala Kendra whose founder was Gore Gurung.
Our Office phone rang its phone call from Mr. Bhoj Gurung (a gurung film maker). He invited us for his village Mahutshav starting from Chaitra 15th till Chaitra 17th, 2065. We accepted the invitation because we have never been to that village. Village name is Tangting (a gurung community base village). On Saturday we gather at D’Village Restaurant, Chipledhunga and start our journey in jeep from there. Kantipur Television Program Producer Pradip, Cameramen Murari, Singer Roz Moktan, Milan Lama and other crew were with us.
On March 16, 2009 Pokhara Pardasani Kendra was full of audience about 5000 waiting for Indian idols 4. The ticket price Rs. 250 higher than other live concert but people are gathering there to just to see the Indian idols especially to Shauravee and Kapil Thapa.
Today 17th of Falgun 2065 Namaste Band present's Maha Shiva Ratri Music Festival 2009 on the occasion of their 20th anniversary. Festival is organized in Pardasani Kendra, Naya bazaar in Pokhara after 5 years. Namaste Band is organizing such a program in every 5 years. This program is inauguration by legend pop singer Deep Shrestha. About 1000 viewers had enjoyed the program with International and national bands. Entrance ticket is Rs.100.
